Seat Happens: Support

Seat Happens is a free puzzle game for iPhone. You work for a family wedding firm: merge items on the board into bigger and better ones, and fill each guest's order before the day ends. Every wedding tradition is its own world, with its own family, its own food and its own opinions.

How to play

How do I merge?

Drag one item onto another identical item. They combine into the next item in that chain. Tap a source tile to make a new item. Items you need for an order can be dragged to the guest or stall that asked for them.

What are orders?

Each day has a list of orders from the family and guests. Make the item asked for and deliver it. Deliver every order and the day is done; the fewer actions you spend, the better your result. Some orders are rush orders with a clock on them.

I do not know what makes what.

Press and hold an item to open its recipe: it shows what it is made from and what it becomes. The hint on a new order also points to the chain you need.

What is the Letters shelf?

The story of each wedding arrives as letters between days. The Letters shelf on the day list keeps the ones you have opened so you can read them again. Unread letters have a gold edge.

What is the world map?

The game opens on a map with one pin per wedding tradition. Tap an open pin to see its days. Pins marked as coming soon open in a future update.

Ads

Where do ads appear?

Never the first time you play a wedding's story days. In Bookings, and when you replay a day you have already won, you can choose to watch a short video for a helper or an energy refill. Now and then an ad plays between bookings. Ads come from Google AdMob.

What is the tracking prompt?

The first time ads are about to appear, iOS asks whether Seat Happens may track you across other companies' apps and websites. Say yes and the ads may be more relevant to you; say no and the game and its ads still work. You can change the answer any time in iOS Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking. See the privacy policy for what is collected.

Saving and resetting

Your progress is saved on your device, in the app's own storage. There are no accounts, and your progress is never sent anywhere. (Ads, from version 1.1, are loaded from Google; see Ads above.) Deleting the app deletes the save, and a fresh install starts from the beginning. You cannot restore a deleted save, so there is nothing to sign in to or back up.

To start over, delete the app and install it again.

Sound, haptics and Reduce Motion

• The game's sounds follow your phone's silent switch.
• If Reduce Motion is on in iOS Accessibility settings, the game keeps movement to a minimum. Nothing about the puzzles changes.
